a brief update

I can't believe I have to endure another 14months of this nonsense......

What a fucking waste of time.....

On a brighter side of things....been listening to a whole lot of indie rock lately....Kaiser Chiefs, Vampire Weekend and a whole lot of artists whose names are just too weird to mention...but I like....music, not name....

And....Roxanne's got a new friend whom she apparently treats really badly...squishes him all the time....his name's poxy...and he's a bear....and she's mean...and evil....and a flower...what do flowers have against bears? I don't get it...

also, on a little sidenote, if anyone requires any design help for anything, please contact me(90010594), I'd be willing to help....just to help boost my portfolio....I'd really appreciate it...thanks

Dream car

I've finally found my dream car.....anyone looking for a new car should seriously consider saving up to get this beauty
The scorpion by Ronn Motor Company

"Hydrogen use for cars is only thought to be possible with fuel cells or even in regular combustion engines, as BMW is trying to prove possible with some of its vehicles. Ronn Motor Company, from Texas, USA, has proposed a new use of this gas: to blend it with gasoline. According to the company, doing so can improve highway fuel economy up to 17 km/l (or 40 mpg). Even better, it can do that for a 450 hp sports car that sprints from 0 to 60 mph in about 3.5 seconds and reaches top speeds of up to 320 km/h (200 mph). Ladies and gentlemen, meet the Ronn Scorpion.

Although very little information can be found about the car at Ronn Motor Company’s official website, the company has sent us a press release that solves most of the doubts, but not all. The rest of them had to be sold personally. The engine the car uses, the Acura 3.5 litre V6, generates 289 hp in its stock form and 450 hp in twin turbo configuration. VCM (Variable Cylinder Management) is not present, or, else, all six cylinders work all the time, but even so the car achieves an impressive 17 km/l highway fuel economy

This is due to the blend of hydrogen and gasoline in 40%/60% proportion, respectively. Hydrogen is provided by the hydrogen delivery system from Hydrorunner, which generates hydrogen directly from an on board water tank that holds 11.3 litres (3 gallons) of water and only has to be refilled every 1,600 km (1,000 miles). This clever solution avoids the need of so far heavy and expensive hydrogen tanks in the car. The generation of hydrogen varies according to accelerator demands. “(It generates) more at higher rpms and less at lower rpms”, said Adrian Pylypec, VP for Sales and Marketing at Ronn Motor Company to World Car Fans.

Prices are also not mentioned on the press release, but we have already confirmed them: US$ 150,000, and Ronn Motor Company is accepting pre orders. It may look expensive, but there will only be 200 units of Scorpion around, so exclusiveness is a good explanation for the price, but not the only one. The supercar also features carbon fibre body, chrome molly chassis, Recaro seats, Indy car independent suspension in all four wheels, Bose 8 speaker sound system, HID Xenon headlights, LED sidemarkers and custom LED gauges, among other things. Even filled up with comfort equipments, Scorpion manages to keep its weight as low as 950 kg. And this is not a small vehicle, considering by its 2.67 m wheelbase. Total width is yet to be confirmed. Production starts in the last quarter of 2008 and deliveries at about the same time."

The dying breath

So ever feared

Living in pain

Even more so

Life and death

Both feared with similar degree

Which is worse?

Dying or living?

Death or life?

Similar? But several miles apart

-Ioannes-

Am I the angel in disguise

Or the devil to be despised

Am I to live in all these lies

Just to blend in and to survive

Restraining order

NS really stamps out my ability to do anything else other than to spend time in camp and when I book out, family, friends and girlfriend....2 years is really a long time...but 9 years is even longer...

Unplugged

Walking around unplugged(no damn rubber thingys that are attached via wire to a music playing device) makes one more receptive to the surrounding environment, it's sounds, tastes, smells, textures. I often feel that I tend to be able to see more and hear more while walking around without my mp3 on. Rather than being focused on the music and the task at hand, one will be able to enjoy the presence of the present, take in the sounds and sights of the urban lifestyle and the concrete jungle that we live in called Singapore. Sometime I think it's a better way to relax than to always have music pounding at your ear drums all the time.

But of course, I still do enjoy listening to some of my fav tunes whilst on the go =)

Well, been a while since I myself have been here...bookouts for me are solely spent sleeping 1/2 the time, playing games 1/4 and the rest going out....Furthermore, in order to lawfully abide to the rather restrictive laws set by the SAF that one shalt not blog about NS life thus risking a couple of confinements and guard duties, I shall summarise the NSF experience here in just 2 words, "fucked up". That pretty says it all I reckon....not to say that it's been a torture, just takes a little while to get used to the strenuous physical training and the perpetually omnipresent
water regimes not to mention a diet that, at times, put even a rat off at the mere sight of it. If not for the friends and buddies I've made inside of camp, I'd sooner be the next guy caught walking around orchard road with my rifle. (however that is done still remains a complete mystery to me)
